When I first started painting, it was on my roof deck or in my studio, listening to music and my own thoughts. Now, I’m lucky enough to make a new friend every time I paint a mural! As I bring energy to public spaces, the community brings energy to me, sharing interesting stories and thoughts about the neighborhood. And as I decorate a wall inside someone’s home or business, they tell me how thrilled they are to have my art there. These interactions are one of the many reasons I love painting abstract murals all around the city.
